This was recorded in Stockholm, in 1969. This Voodoo Child performance includes a quite amazing guitar solo by Jimi Hendrix and drums solo by Mitch Mitchell. Worth the watch. However the story is that The Jimi Hendrix Experience band exploded a few month after. In fact the spark was gone, and if you look a bit closely you can feel the boredom and the fact that the band is not there . The story as reported from the bassist, Noel Redding, is that because of the local prohibition of drugs, the band could only consume but a local liquor. This took the toll on the spirit and motivation.
