There was a heated confrontation between the Deputy Science, Technology and Innovation Minister and anti-Lynas activists and Opposition MPs after a memo was handed over calling for the closure of the plant. The deputy minister also got on some nerves by describing the Lynas plant as safe as a kicap factory.
