Several residents of the Portugese Settlement in Malacca delivered a memorandum to Parliament today demanding a stop-work order on reclamation works at the Melaka Gateway project as it is affecting their livelihood. According to the groups representative Peter Thomas Gomes they had to resort to handing a memorandum seeking the PM intervention as the chief minister had ignored their calls for a meeting.
