Vladimir Zotikos and Ruth Owens are part of the painting crew that helps preserve the Capitol's elaborately decorated hallways. The architect of the Capitol employs a staff of nearly 2,400 to maintain the 290-acre complex. About 770 of those employees come to work after the sun goes down.
