Ahmedabad: Class-4 employees of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) run hospitals including VS Hospital, LG Hospital, Shardaben Hospital and Nagri Hospital went on strike. The strike started after a clash between a ward boy and relatives of a patient who died allegedly due to negligence by nursing staff in AMC run LG Hospital. The nursing staff went on strike, and later class-4 employees joined the strike demanding recruitment on vacant posts, permanent job to those who have completed 900 days as temporary worker.
