Ever since I got married 4 years ago Colby has been asking me to make thin and chewy chocolate chip cookies. I have tried SO MANY recipes claiming this result and yet they never came out perfect. They would always taste good but weren't exactly what Colby wanted in a cookie lol Well 4 years later, I finally decided to experiment with my own recipes and after many failed attempts, I FINALLY created the best thin & chewy chocolate chip cookie (according to Colby at least lol) The BEST Chocolate Chip Cookies: 1 stick of softened butter 1/2 cup granulated sugar 3/4 cup brown sugar 1 egg 1 1/4 tsp vanilla 1 1/4 cups flour 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp baking powder Pinch of salt 1 tsp cinnamon (optional) 1/2-1 cup chocolate chips Preheat oven to 350 degrees Cream butter, sugars, egg and vanilla together Add dry ingredients to wet and mix on low (flour, baking powder & soda, salt, and cinnamon) Stir in chocolate chips Using a small cookie scoop drop batter onto a cookie sheet lined with par
