Ahmedabad: As many as 36 lakh bank accounts have been opened by various banks in Gujarat under Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) since August. Over 1 crore households have been covered under the scheme which was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 28. Target is accomplished in 31 districts of 36.
