Описание

The children know where the cold wind blows and it snows They write letters to a man, the North pole In hopes a glimpse, to see him in his flight Riding his sleigh, dressed in red, trimmed in white Merry Christmas and a HO, HO, HO, the children know he goes They will lay awake and listen for the sound The jingle of his sleigh, Santa is on his way The Reindeer hoofs upon the roofs when he comes down The twinkling lights gleaming bright on the Christmas tree Stockings hung with care, on every chimney They will try to stay awake, till the dreams over-take Looks like a Merry Christmas to me Merry Christmas and a HO, HO, HO, the children know he goes Riding his sleigh, dressed in red, trimmed in white They anticipate, hardly can they wait To see the man riding the wind when he takes his flight Guided by a Reindeer with a bright and glowing nose In just one night, he will make good his flight And all around the world, visit every boy and girl Bringing gifts of love to all on Christmas night Just ask any boy or girl, they know What it means to hear sleigh bells in the snow They will try to stay awake till the dreams over-take Over the tops of trees, they hope to see him as he goes Merry Christmas and a HO, HO, HO, the children know he goes They will lay awake and listen for the sound The jingle of his sleigh, Santa is on his way The Reindeer hoofs upon the roofs when he comes down Mom and dad holding hands, each other close As they walk in the snow on Christmas Eve The twinkling lights gleaming brightly on every Christmas tree Looks like a Merry Christmas to me.
