Valsad: Autorickshaw is not just a mode of transport for people in Nargol, a coastal village located in south Gujarat. It has got transformed into ''Autorickshaw Ambulance'. Residents of Nargol, an interior village in Umbergaon taluka of Valsad district, do not have timely access to 108 ambulance service during emergencies. Therefore, autorickshaws are now being used to ferry people from inaccessible places in the village to hospitals in Vapi and Umbergaon, which are located 30 km away.
