The first good showers of this year’s monsoon have brought with it civic woes for Amdavadis. Many areas like Amraiwadi, Khokhra, Shaibaug, Civil saw knee-deep waterlogging and several complaints of overflowing drains. Majority of the problems were reported from areas where catchpits haven’t been cleaned properly. Open manholes and unfinished infrastructural work added the commutation troubles of the common man.
